The YPAA Summit is a biannual virtual meeting of young people's service committees, bid committees, host committees, advisory councils, and individual members for the purpose of establishing a method of communication between conferences; the sharing of experience, strength, and hope; and providing educational opportunities that can help foster recovery, unity, and service.​

The idea for a summit was devised at the 2024 Northeast Regional AA Service Assembly (NERAASA) during the YPAA Round Table discussions as a means of connecting young people from all over the region. The first summit was held on April 13th, 2024 as the Eastern Area YPAA Summit with a focus on YPAA conferences throughout the Eastern Area of the United States and Canada.

On May 4th, 2025, the Eastern Area YPAA Summit was renamed the YPAA Summit and the scope was expanded to encompass all YPAA conferences, conventions, and committees, regardless of geographic boundaries.
